Dipl.-Chem.-Ing. Jorge Prieto looks back on more than 30 years of professional experience as technical director and managing director at several global wood lacquer manufacturers. Also as an internationally active coatings consultant.

He is known as the specialist book author of the international standard book “Chemistry and Technology of Wood Coatings”. In addition, he is a welcome guest as a lecturer and speaker at international conferences and congresses and has published countless publications and patents.

He is an honorary member of the executive board of the Association of Engineers in the Paint and Varnish Industry (VILF e.V.) and as a member of the board of trustees of the technical and scientific advisory body of the Institute for Wood Technology Dresden e.V. and IHD.
